Can the app make my lost phone ring?

Yes. If your phone is online and the app was configured in advance, you can use the web portal or supported companion features to trigger a loud sound and help locate the phone.

Can I find a phone that is offline or has a dead battery?

If the phone is offline, powered off, or out of battery, the app cannot update its live location or ring it in real time. If the app was configured before the phone was lost, the app, web portal, or a paired Wear OS watch when available can show the last known location of the phone.

Does the app work with Wear OS watches?

The web portal is for existing users whose lost phone already had Find My Phone installed, signed in, and configured before it went missing.

Open the web portal from another device. Go to the Web Portal in any browser.
Sign in with the same account. Use the account that was connected in the app on the missing phone.
Locate or ring your phone. If the phone is online and properly configured, view its location or trigger a loud sound.
